A Call to Wisdom

The Wiseman Solomon doesn’t say that “Sensible people accept advice” He says Sensible people accept “GOOD” advice”. The accent here is on the quality of the advice. Proverbs 9[6] says “Leave the company of ignorant people, and live. Follow the way of knowledge.” This means that before being receptive to any advice you need to have some knowledge or enough discernment to know when to accept or Reject anything. If the advice is from an “Ignorant” person, listen politely if you can because there is always wisdom in foolishness but don’t take it as a precept.
