Change the way you THINK

How often do you take decisions? How many times have you said to yourself you weren’t going to procrastinate any more, that you were going to work 12 hours per day, that you were going to start saving, that you were going to start sharing, that you were going to start exercising? Everyday we take a massive number of resolutions, everyday we promise to ourselves to be better persons. Still, everyday we do the exact same things we promised to stop, we don’t do the things we said we would.

Each and every one of us identifies with this situation, the million dollar question now is: how do we deal with this apparent failure? Does it take shots to your self-esteem, does it make you hate yourself? Or does it make you know that you are only Human, and thus liable to fail at things at times? I pray the latter is your case, if it isn’t, then you should take failure that way.

No matter the DECISIONS you take, provided you thought it through properly, you should know that only PERSEVERANCE will make you win, you should know that resilience will be the key to success, you should know that mental toughness and persistence are the road to your El Dorado. Good Luck at the game of Life.

  1. Well said. Made me think of the Bible verse: “…we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope” (Rom. 5: 3-4). Too often, Satan uses self-condemnation to keep us from moving forward.
